Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinical Research Trial

Primary Objective:

Hidradenitis Suppurativa can be painful to live with – but doctors are searching for ways to help. People aged 16 and above if diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) have an opportunity to participate in a research trial run by study-doctors who specialize in treating Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Participation will be for around 67 weeks, involving 20 visits to the research site, and does not cost anything to participate or receive treatment.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinical Research Study – Now Enrolling

  • People aged 16 and above diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) may participate.

    Inclusion Criteria

    • A clinical diagnosis of moderate to severe HS for at least 6 months

    • Have the presence of HS lesions in at least 2 distinct anatomic areas

    • Intolerance to oral antibiotics for HS treatment

  • This study is for an investigational injectible medication for HS that may be able to help. If you qualify and join the study, you will receive:

    • Regular evaluations of your HS condition from a local specialist

    • Study related care and study medication at no cost

    • Compensation for time and travel to attend study visits

    • The opportunity to help advance hidradenitis suppurative research to potentially benefit others suffering from HS

  • The study lasts about 67 weeks. During this time you will meet with your study doctor regularly to evaluate your progress and discuss your overall experiences.

  • The study is being offered at select centers throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

    At Interior Dermatology Centre, we are currently conducting a clinical study here in Kelowna.

  • No, if you qualify and chose to join the study, you will receive all study related care and study medication at no cost.

  • Yes, participants will be compensated for their time and travel to attend required study visits
