Plaque Psoriasis Clinical Research Trial

Primary Objective:

Are you struggling to manage your plaque psoriasis with current treatments? Medical researchers are exploring new possibilities. If you’re living with plaque psoriasis and haven’t found relief with existing options, you may have the chance to contribute to an important clinical trial. This research study is designed to evaluate a new treatment that could offer an alternative solution.  Participation will last about 20 weeks and involve about 11 visits to the study research site.

Plaque Psoriasis Clinical Research Study – Now Enrolling

  • Adults 18 to 70 years of age, inclusive with plaque psoriasis, may be eligible to participate.

    Inclusion Criteria:

    • Meet all of the following psoriasis criteria:

    • have a clinical diagnosis of plaque psoriasis for ≥ 6 months

    • have stable moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis (assessed at the screening and baseline visits)

    • be a candidate for phototherapy or systemic therapy

    • BMI of 18 to 40 kg/m2

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and refrain from the use of tanning booths, sun lamps, and other sources of ultraviolet light   during the study

  • Participants can expect regular visits with doctors who specialize in treating plaque psoriasis. During the study, they will receive either the investigational oral medication or a placebo, both in tablet form.

  • The study will last about 20 weeks and involve 11 visits to the study research site.

  • At Interior Dermatology Centre, we are currently conducting a clinical study here in Kelowna.

  • No, if you qualify and chose to join the study, you will receive all study related care and study medication at no cost.

  • Yes, participants will be compensated for their time and travel to attend required study visits.
